Lots of great news to share.

Our MS students Kiran Prabhu and Shubham Raut for got placed in Navin Fluorine International Limited.

​

Our UG/DD students Arvind Rao got placed in PPG, Saurabh Laddha got placed in Piramal Pharma.  

 

Congratulations, guys! A proud moment for SERG!

​

We filed our first patent on white light emitter. This is infact the first official outcome of our research since our group's inception. Congratulations Tamilselvan and Poonam, for this nice invention! 

​

SERG added a state-of-the-art ferroelectric test station (TF3000) from aixACCT for our PV research. 

​

13 June 2019:

We have added an inert atmosphere glove box to our research facility. Thanks to IIT-Madras for funding. 

​

10 February 2019:

We have added a dual source thermal evaporator in our lab. Thanks to BRNS for funding this facility

​

We welcome our interns Sai Surya and Vaishnavi to the group.  They are funded by RUTAG, IIT-M. Thanks RUTAG!

09 December 2018:

​

We have added a new facility - Horiba's Xe arc lamp source with a dual grating monochromator for spectroelectro-chemical setup. It is a BRNS funded facility.

​

We welcome two new members on board the SERG team. Welcome Manishankar and Rakshanaa.

28 October 2018:

We are celebrating our second anniversary. SERG has grown tremendously in the last two years from an empty lab to the state-of-the-art solar energy research infrastructure. For more information, please visit our facilities section. We have successfully obtained 5 external grants + IITM grant, which in total worth ~ 2.7 crores INR. Special thanks to our group's valuable assets - The Students & The Postdoc - for making everything happen.

We have added

 

(1) Horiba's Fluorolog-3 spectrofluorimeter (steady state and time resolved PL). The facility is funded by SERB-DST. 

(2) Keithley 2450 Source Measure Units - funded by CSIR.

We have gone far. A year ago, I was a lone man. And now we are 16 in our group, with 4+ sponsored projects from various funding sources.
